2026-05-26 — Initial Enforcement Build

Device limit hard block: Config now blocks device discovery at the licensed limit. When the maximum number of devices is reached, new devices cannot be added — no overage allowed. A dialog shows current count and license limit.
Device limit paths audited: Only the network scanner adds managed devices. Context menus, topology, and inventory tools do not create new managed devices.

Smaller download: EXE package reduced from 272 MB to 259 MB by removing unused components.

Server-side case limit enforcement: Case creation is now blocked server-side when the monthly limit is reached. Returns a clear error message with current count and reset date.
Quota display: The web interface shows current case count and remaining cases for the month.
Atomic case counting: License server uses per-key file locks to ensure accurate case counts under concurrent requests.
Month boundary reset: Case counters reset automatically on the first of each month.

Uploading packet captures or log files to a case does not create a new case and does not consume the case quota.

Case counting: License server tracks monthly case usage per license key. Each case creation is counted atomically.
Per-key atomic increments: Concurrent case creation requests are serialized using file locks, preventing race conditions.
Monthly reset: Case counts reset on the first day of each month.
