PacketPilot Network Suite
Three self-hosted products for network operations: device management, packet forensics, and asset inventory. Run on your own hardware.
Three products. One suite.
Config for device management. Analyze for packet forensics. Registry for asset inventory — a Docker service that ships with Config and starts automatically.
Environments
Where PacketPilot fits
Designed for environments where reliability, offline operation, and data ownership are non-negotiable.
Offshore & marine
Run PacketPilot on a vessel or offshore platform with intermittent connectivity. Config manages gear over serial or SSH when you're on site. Analyze runs on local hardware. No cloud dependency, no satellite link required.
Industrial & manufacturing
SCADA networks, plant floor switches, and HVAC controllers - often air-gapped. PacketPilot Config talks to multi-vendor gear over SSH without touching the internet. Analyze investigates anomalies locally.
Distributed customer networks
Manage hundreds of customer sites remotely. Config discovers devices across all sites. Registry maintains a persistent asset inventory per customer. Analyze investigations include full site context.
Air-gapped & security-sensitive
Networks that cannot have an internet connection don't fit well with cloud-hosted tools. PacketPilot runs entirely on your infrastructure - Windows laptop for on-site visits, local Docker stack for forensics.
Up in 30 minutes

Common questions
Does my data leave my network?
No. All PacketPilot products are fully self-hosted. Your pcaps, configs, and credentials never leave your infrastructure. The AI analysis runs against a local Ollama instance - no external API calls.
What network devices are supported?
PacketPilot Config supports any device with SSH access: Cisco IOS/NX-OS, Juniper JunOS, Arista EOS, HPE ProCurve, Ubiquiti, and more. PacketPilot Analyze works with any pcap or log file regardless of source.
How does licensing work?
Per-device tier licensing. Add up to your tier limit across all sites. No per-seat fees, no per-capture costs. All tiers include self-hosted deployment, 30-day offline grace, and lifetime updates.
Can I try before buying?
Yes. Config starts a 30-day machine-bound trial automatically on first launch — no key needed. After the trial, email support@db-electronics.no to extend with a Solo license key (5 devices, no expiry). Analyze ships with 10 free cases per month included automatically; email support if you need higher limits.
What happens if I exceed my device limit?
Config stops adding new devices once you reach your limit. No new devices are discovered until you upgrade or remove an existing device. Analyze cases also queue within your plan limits. Upgrade your tier any time from the settings page.
What is Registry and do I need it?
PacketPilot Registry is a self-hosted Docker service that ships with the Config bundle at no extra cost. Config's Docker Compose starts it automatically and pushes discovered devices into Registry - giving you a persistent inventory across all your sites. You can run Config without Registry, but Registry adds long-term tracking and multi-user access that's useful at scale.
